Home Energy Storage Battery Components

News

In a home energy storage battery system, the core components typically include the battery pack itself and its key accessories. These accessories work together to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the system.

Battery Management System (BMS): As the "brain" of the battery pack, it monitors the voltage, current, and temperature of individual cells, implements equalization management to extend lifespan, and provides multiple protection functions such as overcharge, over-discharge, overcurrent, and short circuit protection.

Inverter: Converts the DC power stored in the battery into AC power for household appliances, and is a key component for realizing energy utilization. Some systems use an integrated inverter design, integrating the inverter with the battery.

Energy Management System: Intelligently schedules the battery's charging and discharging strategies, such as charging when photovoltaic power generation is sufficient and discharging during peak electricity prices or power outages to optimize energy use and economy.

Communication and Monitoring Module: Supports Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, or 4G connectivity, enabling remote monitoring of power level, status, and historical data via a mobile app. Some products also have fault alarm functions. Installation and structural components: These include racks, wall mounts, or mobile bases for securing and mounting battery packs. Some products feature a modular design for easy expansion.

Safety protection devices: Such as fuses, circuit breakers, and cooling systems (fans or liquid cooling) to ensure safe operation of the system under abnormal conditions.
